what do you think of the parking tickets about them being illegal?

i got two in 10 mins in westminster and i am disable
i was staying in a hotel in london where there was no parkingmy son went and got the car and parked in on a sigle yellow line with my badges in the window in 8mins of him helping me down the few stairs we had a ticket
at westminster they have two kinds of disable parking one for people who live there and one for people out side london how was we to know when we come from miles away
yes i have disable badges
