I think there is a lot more to this than what is being let on. The truth will come out, it always does. It is just so strange that she is sleeping in the same room and doesn't hear anything or wake up. Was she drunk or high? Then she suddenly wakes up when her now husband comes home from work. Also, why all of a sudden did they get married? Now he can choose not to testify against her if asked too.
