What do you think of the GM Chrysler merge...good or bad?

Why? I mean I know that Chrysler can't make a transmission to save their life and depend on Mercedes, but do you think this is a good move?
Are you talking about the Mazda 6, they are independent from Ford I thought!
 
Yeah, Ford only owns a share. 33 percent of Mazda. Ford uses the 2003-2008 Mazda 6 platform in the 07-09 Ford Fusion and Ford uses the 04-09 Mazda 3 platform in the 08-09 Ford Focus.

And now Ford is selling the share they have in Mazda, which means they will lose the ability to use Mazda parts in their cars.

GM and Chrysler Merge is a good idea because it will save them money since they will share parts.
