What do you think of the Ford Edge?

So, I'm thinking about getting a used Ford Edge for my 17th birthday. Im having my 16th this year, but i just got my permit in August. Anyways...what do you think of the edge? My friends dad owns a ford dealership so i can probably get a good deal on them. Thanks for your input!
Well, this car should last me a while. And hows the pricing?
 
I think it is a big car but is awesome... I am more of a car kind of person ... you should check out the ford fusion i love those cars
