I know Taco Bell is going through a lot of crisis with their beef. So, i tried a Shrimp taco. They looked very refreshing. The taco only had 6 shrimp on it for $2.79 . ROFL(i knew i should have asked how many come on it). and they were definitely over cooked. The sauce was over powering the fish like flaking shrimp (the the tinted green sauce tasted ranchy , but it was good though) Id rather have that sauce on a 7 layer burrito any day. Than pay $2.79 for overcooked fish like flaky shrimp.
Beef critics. I understand why Taco bell beef is the way it is. I like it . Taco bell. They're just hating.
Truth when i make homemade tacos i used to always wonder why the texture was not like taco bell's. It's always too meaty, too dry, or too greasy trying to perfect it the Taco Bell way. so, I bought a box of those cheap hamburger patties that do not have a beefy meat texture. soy bean mostly with oils and random animal parts. And added taco bell seasoning. MAN.... Those were the best tacos ever. I will never use that heavy ground beef again . unless i throw some of those cheap school patties in there with it . They come in an orange box.
