With all the 2012 fears going on, here is NASA on the National news today saying they are doing intensive investigating and studying into solar flares and how they will affect the earth. When they were asked as to why there are doing this, NASA stated to be prepared for them.

Also the snow storm in Chicago last week..I live in a country that gets snow on a regular basis for more than half of the year and snowstorms as well, not ever have I seen in a snowstorm with what I saw in the Sky's of Chicago...., lightening!
