What do you think of my poem?

There once was a man
who had a beer
then went for a drive
with his car in gear

He hit my cousin
and sent her car flying
she hit a wall
and started crying

Rushed to the hospital,
though she was in pain,
she did survive,
but not in vain,

for from her story
there's something to learn,
before you think
about making that turn

To help keep yourself
and others alive
my advice to you is
don't drink and drive.
