Okay, just to tell you I'm not that good at poetry. I'm totally tune-deaf but I'm trying it for the first time (not really the first time, I did the cat and rat thing in second grade ya know) but the first professional time and I'm just wondering what you think of it, I'm much more of a story person than a poem person but if it's good I might think about writing more poetry:
Death Calls:
The whisper of death
THe promise of life
The written words
For both dead and alive
The home of hell
The harness of beauty
The prophecied lord
To love's duty
Proof of the cruel
Arm of the reckless
Promise of the unwanted
And so you escape Earth's bless
So stand and release
the hounds of hell
and rot inside
your empty shell
And another:
Fire
I stare at the ground
The burning fire
A mass of destruction
Mad with desire
An orange flame
A promise of death
A flicker of light
To take your last breath
A blazing heat
Hot as hell
Strength of the immortal
Trapped in a cell
I glare at the ashes
Of a past so dead
With sorrow and suffering
and blood red
The home of the devil
The end of goods rein
The roaring light
The flickering flame.
ugh sorry, I wrote this on a notebook first and had to type it down the second time on the computer.
not Earth's bless just bless
thank you.
(if you're wondering I can't even read my handwriting)
