im in highschool and this is like, the second real poem i've ever written so i just wanted to know for the hell of it what people thought. Its random but could relate to justice i guess.
The Cry
Tell my why it is ok to scream out in pain.
The action only taints the pure air
When hiding your heart can relieve all such strain
From the world who never wanted to hear.
Let them live in false perfection
Let them bathe in the glory of their lies.
For the consequence will later reveal the dismay of their demonstration.
And forebode such reoccurrences in living such a life.
Do not find this comical, or ignore such a sign
As noticeable as the crimes they commit
As bright as the presence who glares from the skies.
The sentence we shall later see does fit.
So why worry for such tragic tales that entwines one within.
Your path is laid ascending towards the stairs.
But do know that they can feel the wrath of heat creeping into them.
As the pride produced in such trials churns the sense of fear.
Fear is known to eat a man alive rotting away his essence.
But there is no need to worry my dear.
The timing formed you as the victim and all that is meant,
Is that no fault to you is known by Him and his peers.
