What do you think of my debate team speech?

I am trying out for my debate team on thursday. I need to come up with a 2 minute speech which will include a new social service idea to aid poverty.

My idea was to open a restaurant in an area heavily affected by poverty. I would only hire those heavily affected by poverty, which will lead to the training and educating of those who are poor, along with providing them a paycheck. It will also bring unity within the community. I will sell my food for cheap prices, so everyone can afford them.

What do you think of my idea?

And any tips to make the team?
 
Your restaurant could have a certain day where kids eat for free.
On election day, those who came in with an "I voted today" sticker gets 1/2 off.
Once a month your restaurant could take bags of carryout food to either a homeless shelter, orphanage, nursing home or for emergency room staff.
Have poor families who visit your restaurant enter a month-long drawing...the winner each month gets dinner "on the house".

Just a few ideas for your speech.

As far as the idea itself, it probably does not matter as much as your ability to defend it.
