What do you think of Honda Civics ?

I'm looking for a used car for $2000 - $4000. (4 Cylinder, good on gas)

Are Honda Civics any good? How expensive are parts?

I would like a car that will last 5 years without any major mechanical problems.

Any car will last 5 years these days if you take care of it. Hondas are way overrated, and they are priced higher. Get a Ford. They are just as good and cost less. I have a Ford over 150,000 and my sister has one almost at 170,000. Both are running perfectly.
