It seems the average European loves them. I was just reading something and they were generally praising their anti self defense laws while making fun of American laws. For example, someone will bring up some crime that happened, and the general consensus is that such an event only proves the need for more restrictions. They don't understand that scumbags do not follow laws. They don't understand how helpless they are. They're like children. They think its fair that if someone breaks into their house, they will be arrested for resisting the burglar.
I believe they would walk right through the middle of Detroit at night and think they were perfectly safe as long as they had their cell phone.
They ignore states like Vermont where anyone who isn't a felon can legally carry any firearm concealed or not and yet it has the lowest crime rates in the country.
They ignore countries like Mexico that has a total weapons ban, and yet is one of the most unsafe and tyrannical countries in the world.
They Ignore Switzerland, a country where every male has an actual assault rifle in his home and yet the country has virtually no crime.
They actually will say with a straight face that firearms have no use except to hurt innocent people and that only police and military should have them. They genuinely believe that nothing bad can ever happen to them and that if they're ever in trouble they can simple phone the police and everything will be ok.
Europeans were free once, then they had all the anti self defense propaganda you can think of shoved down their throats, and now in a single generation they are subjects again and are proud of it.
I find this to be quite depressing.
