This stems from my other question.


Do you agree with me that Bristol was ruined after they repaved and made it wider in 2007???

Bristol used to be my favorite races to watch,but now they remind me of California and Michigan races.....BORING!!!!!!!!!!

I liked it better when there was only one race groove and the only way to pass was to use the "Bristol bump-and-run"

Your thoughts??
 
Yeah I agree. Been saying it for years. Even the media still tries to portray the race like it used to be. Give me a friggin break with the Saturday short track crap. It's like watching Dover 2 more times a season. Most overrated track in NASCAR since it was repaved.

The bump and run is gone, but side by side racing is what Nascar is, but not Bristol. The only thing that reminded me about the old Bristol is my life size poster.
