I think it's due to extreme mental and physical conditioning, and a rough upbringing by his sometimes abusive father. I also think he's very testosterone driven, and he's obviously seen and done a lot of fighting and killing while in the Marines before he became a cop. We haven't seen him kill anyone yet, but it's easy for me to see him doing it in the future, and in cold blood without any moral problems. He seems to have the upbringing of the what is considered the traditional male cop seen on TV. What is his style of hand to hand combat, and do you think he possibly suffers from post traumatic stress syndrome but doesn't show it like Liv as a female does? Do you think he'll eventually get tired of all the fighting he had to do to bring justice?
What do you think makes Det. Elliot Stabler so warlike and violent?
