It’s just not meant to be.
When I noticed you ,
Passing by,
I acknowledged you with a smile.
But then your thoughts drift away-away from me,
And you reply, with a meaningless ‘oh’.
When I am not there-
Not here for you.
But I am mentioned,
Just for you.
You just reply, with a careless ‘I know’
Guess it’s just not meant to be.
I may be bold, daring and caring-
Outwardly I am all.
But deep in me, I harbor a secret-
I lack that courage- I lack that faith,
To look straight at your own gazes
But your stares bore right through me-
It makes me wonder-
Do you know I’m there-
That I’m here for you?
Or are you just staring at a blank; empty wall ahead…

I heard about the girls
That you fancy-
The pretty ones-
The long haired, shy ones-
