maybe not as much as you think, papers like say the sun are not what they were, the internet is a much better place to get news now and you can get all the angles and make your own informed decisions. the sun is trying to call it for David camerons party but this is not the case I seem to be getting on various blogs on the net from what I have seen so far its Labour or dont know yet, but if the economy starts to improve and pick up speed we would be stupid to give the tories a chance and then regret it later, dont forget they could do a lot of damage in 5 years.

Blair and Cameron visit media? moguls and ask for their support, esp. if they own a lot in the media?
Do you think, these media moguls will ask for favours as well? (curbing those institutions that curb their power)

the media wouldn't exist if politicians, celebrities etc didn't feed it. Everything is spun, absolutely everything. So of course the media are in on the game, its their bread and butter. Its up to us as individuals to sort out whats really going on, and whats not. Always ask yourself , who's telling you this, and what do they want me to believe', once you've worked out their agendas its easy enough to make up your own mind.

there are 3 sides to every argument, their side, your side, and the truth, (or a plausible version of the truth). Having said all that, from reading some of the other answers here, conspiratory theories usually have very little truth, human beings constantly underestimate ourselves.

That's how obama was installed. The media in the US are in the tank with him. We have to get our news elsewhere.

It's the same old story, all over and over again. These people think they're God's gift to the people and we should be grateful. Tell you what! They're better at it than you or I, that's why we get crapped on all the time. It's not new this media creep stuff. Blair is about to become the Big I AM in the EU. Cameron reckons he's to be UK Prime Minister for the next two or three decades, so they both want to establish the fact that we, the people, recognise it as fact and don't rock the boat. Pity Brown proved to be such a droop bum non-leader and his party are subjecting themselves to being slimed along by the slug Mandy. This used to be a nice, respectable country in my youth. I was proud to wear the Queen's uniform and do unspeakable damage to Her naughty, out of line Commonwealth citizens. Guess that was all for for nothing. What a great pity! Murdoch and his greedy, grime stained mates have always got their own way. They don't need favours from anyone. It's the political tykes who need favours. God rot the lot!!!!
