This is just the first two paragraphs, and the topic is 'What were the major philosophical contributions of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle?' Is the information correct? What about punctuation? Overall, do you think the paper is good?

The world has seen many illustrious philosophers try to decipher our existence, but perhaps the three greatest ones are Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. The trio lived in Athens around 400 B.C. Socrates developed the Socratic Method, which is highly regarded as an effective teaching tool and still used today. Plato founded Academy, a school in Athens that taught philosophy and science. Aristotle discovered major findings concerning mathematics, physics, and other sciences. Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle made contributions to philosophy that society will never forget.

Socrates was born into a typical family in Athens in 469 B.C. After serving as a soldier and inheriting a sufficient fortune from his father, Socrates decided to devote himself to the art of philosophy. He spent the rest of his life discussing important subjects with the affluent men of Athens. This was later known as the Socratic Method and is still prevalent. Socrates was particularly ethical in nature; justice, love, self-knowledge, and virtue were the foundations of his teachings. He believed that the human race was essentially virtuous and those who acted badly only did so out of ignorance. Though he refrained from politics, Socrates was convicted of corrupting youth with political teachings and put to death in 399 B.C. Since Socrates left no works behind, we infer what we know about him from the writings of his student Plato.

I think that's a Jim-Dandy start of a paper! I think it's well thought out, well written and, as far as I know, pretty accurate. You should be proud of it! Keep it up!
