What do you think about the passages in the Bible that show Moses "arguing" with God?

When I say "arguing" I do NOT mean it in a bad way. I just meant there were times where Moses would question God and this always seemed interesting to me.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.
The Isrelites danced around a golden calf at the base of Mount Sinai, the mountain upon which Moses, at that moment, was receiving the Ten Commandments. When God told Moses that their acts of idoltry warrented their destruction, Moses argued with God: if God destroyed Isreal, the Egyptians would say God only took the Isrealites out of Egypt to slay them in the desert. God agreed and retracted the plan of national destruction (Ex. 32:14)
Okay, that was a copy and paste job but this does show Moses appearing to argue a little with God for lack of a better term.

It seems to me they had to have a very close relationship with each other as two friends would. Just because they disagree with each other doesn't mean they can't be friends.

I mean the Notebook showed how two people that loved each other were willing to argue with each other.

Argue? I think he was trying to beg/persuade God to not destroy His unfaithful people. I can't see Moses trying to take God's authority from Him and say that He's acting wrongfully.
