I saw one go up for sale and wondered if it was worth buying for $500 or should I stick with my Yamaha beginner's clarinet which I have played decently for 6 years. I don't plan to go on past high school so I don't need a good clarinet but I would like to play well enough for my last 2 years of school. Will it make my tone better noticeably? I know if I asked the clarinet teacher that comes in to class, he'll probably say it's not good enough so I don't want him to look at me as if I can't afford a good clarinet.
What do you think about the Buffet E11 clarinet?
