I think that it's each individuals' choice on whom they want to be with, despite their gender. I think they should legalize same sex marriage because it is impeding on our rights as Americans. When a man and a man decide to get married, it doesn't affect anyone but them and maybe some close family members. It is not a danger to society, nor to the individuals. Also, in America, church and state are supposed to be separate. The major argument that won't allow same sex marriages is the "Bible" and tradition. These are NOT valid points. I am so sick of Christians saying that they just want to help people and it's "wrong." Not everyone is a Christian. In this country we have freedom of religion. Therefore, if you have laws based on one religion, isn't that a little contradictory? You are forcing people who are not Christians to follow Christian laws. It's wrong, and it goes against our freedom.
