What do you think about Photography as a career?

Im am looking into photography as my hop-full career.
I Absolutely love to take pictures and im really good at it.

The bad things about this career is...
1.very low pay (27,00 a year)
2.I dont have a family yet because im a little young lol(not saying my age) but when i do ill have to be away from them alot
3.It could be a little dangerous (pictues of Valcanos, underwater,etc.)

The good things about this career is...
1.Travel
2.Taking pictures (i love that)
3.experience lots of new places/adventures

What do you think?
 
If you think that you are going to make good money as a travel photographer then you need to learn some facts..

Travel photography is an incredibly niche market and extremely difficult to get into. You can not just buy a camera and expect to fall into a job with National Geographic who will whisk you away to a "Volcano"!. I'm not sure just how young you are but this is what us adults call a daydream. The chances of you accomplishing this, even with very good photography skills are extremely slim to none. Your ideas for a "photography career" are very naive.

(Just being honest with you)

The guy who said he is studying to become a doctor has the right idea. Get a good job with good money, buy lots of good camera gear and then you can afford to go to nice places to take images for your photography hobby!.
