okay well i couldn't go to sleep last night, just thinking about my best guy friend. so i decided to write this poem. hmm, let me give you a little background info. we met in 3rd grade and i basically fell in love with him. i'm in the 10th grade now, and i still love him. i've never told him this, although i did tell him in 7th grade that i USED to like him. i never said i still did. we're going out to the movies this friday, and i had set my mind to tell him how i feel. the only problem is that he recently told me that he like this one girl from his school, so i don't think i'm going to tell him. we go to different schools by the way. umm, well basically, i just want your opinion of my poem

*You're the only one I dream of being with forever.
I feel so glad when we spend a little time together.
When you came into my heart, it was love at first sight.
I never expected it to be so complicated and have to fight,
the urge to scream what I feel for you tonight.
*It all started as a crush when we were young.
I did not know in the end I'd be so sprung.
I tried so hard at first to let you know,
but then I figured it was better not to though.
Even if I can't let this feeling go.
*We became so close and comfortable with each other.
You probably think I see you as my brother.
If only you knew my true feelings towards you,
you'd see how I imagine you as my one and only boo.
I sometimes wish you'd feel the same way about me too.
*There's times I want to fly far away like a dove,
just to forget that you're my secret love.
I think about you every single minute of the day,
and when we talk I feel the need to say..
"I love you best friend," to remind myself you're not here to stay.™
