TRUST

What is trust?
I don't know
I've never been told

I just wandered around here
In the dark
Cold

I've stumbled sometimes
Met the ground
On my hands and knees

But then I felt you
Touch my shoulder
Turn me around

What is trust?
I asked
You said

Trust is walking
Back
Into the dark

Blind
But believing that who is with you
Knows the way

That they'll take care of you
What over you
Lead you into the light

But can I trust?
I asked
You said

"Yes, you will learn,
if you follow me."
