What do you think about motors for bicycles?

I'm thinking of getting 1 and following the supposedly simple installation instructions in the web adds,put it on my bike.My frame tho is 17 and a half inches.I'll probably have to buy another mountain bike with a 21 inch frame for the motor to fit on the lower frame bar.I like biking for a healthy lifestyle,I've always been active,but I'm tired of the big hills.The bike with motor is supposed to go 30/40 miles an hour on a strait stretch.
Oh,bikes with motors under 50cc does not require a licence to run in most places according to one of the adds for these motors.I know a guy in canada who rides a bike with a motor on it and he does not have a license.
 
Why would you buy a bike that is too large for you. Motorized bikes have a displacement and top speed limit to make them legal. Check with your states laws regarding motorized bikes first.
