For God's sake, they don't have to be in Afghanistan and Iraq. Their soldiers are as old as I am (23), and they're working to keep Canada and the USA safe. Canada is our closest ally. They were the first ones to send their rescue team (based in Vancouver) to New Orleans, when our leaders had no plans for the people suffering. Much of the USA gets its oil, water, lumber, coal and other natural resources from Canada. Whether you Republicans like it or not, they are our BEST allies, regardless of their military strength. They've been with us through thick and thin, and we share with them the largest border that is the envy of Europe, Asia, and other continents.
