Recently I purchased two Alpine subs and a rockford fosgate amp from a buddy and put them in my vehicle. Within a week one died on me. I got mad because they're good brand subs and didn't last very long (could be due to power, idk) so I decided to go to Wal-Mart. I went to the automotive section and found three different sub choices. The first was Sony, second was Pioneer, and third was Dual. I was so irritated at the time, I decided to be a jerk (to whom, i dont know) and I bought the $30 Dual sub. I went home and put it in my box and hooked it to my amp and turned it up. Amazingly, it hits equally, if not harder, than the Alpine sitting next to it in the box.
My question is, is Dual a decent brand, but gets a bad wrap because they mostly sell out of Wal-Mart and are cheap?
Kinda random, but wondered what other people thought about them.
