What do you talk about after you asked a girl to a dance?

We're kind of just acquaintances/friends. She said yes of course. But I only see her a once or twice a day passing by classes and in the halls, so I need to make that time valuable. I want to get to know her more before the dance, which is in 3 weeks.

What should I talk about during the short times I see her? Some good icebreakers?

This is so much similar to me and I had one week before the dance when I asked her and she was a COMPLETE stranger.

Just talk to her in the halls; the day, your weekend, blah blah, valentines day what're you doing...

AND ASK HER DRESS COLOR!
 
Geopolitics, weather, favorite sausage varieties, embarrassing medical conditions, stamp collection, etc.
 
talk about something random like the weather or squirells lol okay not squirells try her hair how you like it if you do or what color dress she is getting so you can get a matchin tie talk about how lame the school is or how cool either lol the schools lunches one of the classes she takes by seeing one of her books in the hall her locker if you tlak to her there sports books food plants music hobbies tv movies anything and relax dont overthink
 
make her laugh.
Make jokes about yourself and that way, with those types of jokes she'll get to know you a little better bit, by bit
