What do you really think about law enforcement officers and personnel?

Depends on the cop.
Some do their job and interact with the "accused" or citizen with respect and decorum appropriate to the situation.
OTHERS tend to believe the badge has given them the right to decide what constitutional and civil rights are to be ignored as they see fit these cops really really don't like me because I am that one azzhole that will not take their sh*t in this area at all.

I am an admirer of police and at one time wanted to become one and found that I can't. I really think that no matter how hard it is, all police should buckle down and enforce the laws.1- Isn't or wasn't there a law that said if an emergency vehicle has there siren or horn on the pull over and look later to see where is it?2- Am I the only one that gets out of the was a.s.a.p. if an emergency vehicle sounds? I don't see anyone else doing it. Do you think the police need to back off when in a pursuit of a felon, just to keep Innocent people from getting hurt. Not me! I know that if they made it a law to pull over the the horn/siren is heard and that people have to wait a little before continuing, I know I would follow it. 3- Why is it so many people think so badly of law enforcement officers? I think it is because the people who have the problem are stupid and are hard headed and can't see past there nose.4- What do you think? Well, this is it for now. Please be brutal.

I think the whole government is corrupt, and that we need to do something about it fast. They are abusing their power, and I follow the laws and move out of their way but seriously they need to pull their heads outta their asses. Not only are more of them getting hurt and becoming heroes for it but innocent people are getting hurt in the process. And half of the time when a trial is unable to proceed its because of something the police did wrong. I'm sorry I love my country, but I'm just not proud to call my self an american and I'm only 16 years old. If its this bad now just imagine how much worse its going to get.
