What do you make of Nicky Haydens season with Ducati so far?

I know a lot of people have been saying that Nicky should return to AMA as he has lost the ability to keep up with the rest of the class.
I disagree with this and do not think that a guy who was able to win the championship could not have lost theabilityy to ride at a world class level. I think that his poor performance this year is down to him changing to Ducati (you just have to look at what happened Melandari when he rode a ducati to see what i am talking about.) I don't think it is very fair for people to write off Nicky just because he is having a bad year. If you can ride a bike in Moto GP then you obviously aren't a rubbish rider. If you can win it you are on a new level.
I think that ducati have a weird old bike going on there which Stoner is the only one able to some how control it. I think that Nicky should try as hard as he can for this year and then hop of it and go to another team next year. I think that he will be able to get another team at the end of the year as i think people can see his problem with the bike. I also don't think that many people will be wanting to take his place either. Ductai may have a problem next year getting a second rider...

Whats your views on it all?

[ there is nothing wrong with Nicky, the fault seems to lie in the communication that Ducati have with their riders.. i was listening to an interview with Marco this morning, in which he said that during his time with them, they where only interested in the data logging gathered and not in feedback from him...and had even suggested there was nothing wrong with the bike it was his head, and refered him to a psychologist!!!!
i think that Nicky finds himself in the same position..it could be that Stoner is able to ride the bike, as it is set according to the data without much trouble....<^><...
