I had to learn about them independently. Most schools will not teach about it and most history books are silent. Most college instructors are so brow beaten that they refuse to discuss these matters any more.

America has an ongoing history of censorship.

As far as school goes, they only taught me a little about Gulf of Tonkin, it's a good thing we can learn about things outside of school too; but it's important to think about the question...."What do you know...." and I submit to you that most of us just don't know squat about this sort of thing. These operations were filled with people that habitually take secrets to their grave. Just when you think you got it figured out, you're wrong.

I'm not saying you shouldn't try to learn more, just don't think you know what really happened.
