So I'm a freshman in an amazing high school, but my chemistry teacher, oh dear. He's much more different than others. All of his classes are regular chemistry, but he has the option of deciding which of his students he wants to select for honors chemistry after the first quarter. He's a horrible teacher though. I'm doing the honors chemistry work and that's how he decides who's in, but we're learning through the book. I haven't learned anything from him and it's been a month since school started. So, I don't know if I should keep up with him. My friends say that if I do the honors chemistry it looks better for college, but should I really put up with lousy teaching for the rest of the year and hurt my grade because he's not teaching anything? Seriously, I really don't understand what the book is telling me.
What do I get out of being in Honors Chemistry as opposed to regular Chemistry? All my other classes are honors, so will it really hurt me for college and stuff?
Uh, I think I accidently posted this twice. It said that yahoo answers wasn't working when I pressed submit, so I refreshed the page. :/
