its let people drive up to 5,000-12,000 miles before it tells you to change the oil i think its great saves a lot of money and oil but some people still use the 3,000 miles oil change which is unnecessary do the more sophisticated engines
I have the oil life monitor. but I still change the oil at 3000 to 4500 miles, depending on how many highway miles I have on it. Oil life is usually around 60% when I change the oil.
