I'm lucky in that I live on a large property with creeks, dams etc so I take my dogs for a run once sometimes twice a day off leash. I do twice weekly on leash lessen with the adults & daily lesson with younger dogs both on & off leash. They get cows legs etc to chew on when they are penned(I never tie dogs up) & have platforms to sit on & areas to dig in. I have many long haired double coated dogs & a few poodles so every evening you'll find someone on my lap or at my feet getting their coats done. They have opportunities to swim & chase birds & just be dogs too. I try & take someone every time I go into town just to keep them socialized with dogs not part of their pack & new people also.
