What do you believe the real unemployment rate is in America?

U6 is currently at 16.2%, so I'll go with that. It'll probably be revised upward within the next year, but I'd say no more than .5%.
 
My labor econ professor said it was like 17% or so back in fall 09 if the Department of Labor didn't cheat the statistics. And he does oversight work for congress and is on the federal reserve advisory council
