aug, 2008 possible exposure, but not really i freak out about everything, got tested for hiv at 3 months after test came back Negative.
they say get tested again at 6 months...so
i waited till 8 months after and it came back Negative again.
im worried it will wait intell after i give birth to the baby to show up just to make my life hell.

im 38 weeks pregnant dr. said everything is fine..but i still worry/
i went to live with my real father, at 15 and he did bad things to me..i got away from him when i was 18 yrs, old, thats part of the story..just in case you thought i slept around or something i dont..
and no its not his baby..
i have nothing to do with him and im in the process of getting him into alot of trouble.
 
Its sad that you have to explain yourself because people assume the worst.

I would say you are safe! After the initial exposure, 6 months is long enough to wait to get the all clear.

Enjoy your baby and I'm terribly sorry for what you have been through.
 
I use to work for a blood bank and they said that it can take up to a year for the HIV test to be positive. Thats why they ask all the HIV questions is to eliminate high risk people because of the chance of a negative actually being a positive up to a year. I would think you are good but there is always a chance. Just keep up with the testing and doctors orders. Best of Luck!
