What do u think of my vice president speech for middle school student council?

Your speech is pretty good. But I think you should cut out this part : "I'm the most qualified nominee". It makes it sound like you are trying to boast. Otherwise I think its a very good speech.
 
Hey everyone, my name is ........., i'm in 8th grade and i am hoping to be your vice president for this school year. I believe im the most qualified vice president nominee because i have been on the student council before so i know about how it works and i am not afraid to talk about my opinions and ideas. i can also assure you that your voice, ideas and opinions will be heard as clearly as mine, the presidents or anyone else on the student council. When you vote for me, your going to be voting for organization, responsibility and someone who is going try her best to make this year the best for everybody.

It is also the job of the vice president to help the president which hopefully will be ........, who is a really cool person and would make the a great president. Together with the student council, we will make this year the most fun with lots of dances and activities. These things are as important to me as they are for you. I am not going to promise things that i can't, but i will do everything in my power to try. With all of our ideas, we will improve our year with more activites and make this school a more fun place to be and a place we will be proud of. Your choice is very important to the election and i would really appreciate your vote. Thanks for listening and vote Sophie for vice president!
