Okay, I have two songs I wrote that use the phrase "come down" or "coming down." Neither of them are about drugs or drug addicts, although my brother insists they are. Could anyone tell me what they could possibly mean? I just wrote them and wasn't really thinking about it at the time. Here is the contexts they're used in.
"Come down easy and finally you'll see that when everything inside is changing it's the way it's meant to be."
and,
"Come on back down, take a look at yourself, is this really what you want to be? And what about now? It isn't too late to move on. So don't go asray because you know I'm here to stay. Don't go away..."
I really don't want to have to rewrite them. Please any insight on what meaning I could give them?
