What do these medication instructions mean?

It says ... As an occasional dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 2 times daily. I was wondering if that was a total of 4 capsules per day or only 2 capsules per day.
It is the vitamin by spring valley and its called Natural Echinacea golden seal complex whole herb.
