what do students wear in manchester university ?and how is the weather there?

hi, i'm going to study abroad in manchester university next semester, and i really don't know what to wear! is the weather too cold or wet ?
does it rain in Autumn ?

SO i really need help with :
1- what to wear?
2- what to bring ?
3- what not to bring ?
4- is there any students there from the emirates ?
5- any advice will be great :D
