what do RLC do in bristish army?

hi i want to join the british army as a RLC driver would i get to patrol the streets in afgahnistan and do all that stuff with the driving or would i just be driving backwards and forwards

well patrolling the streets is for the combat soldiers (teeth arms), RLC are not combat role there are logistical support, you will learn basic soldering, and then drive bombs bullets and tanks food around to different places, a good place to go if your good at sport,plus there are more than one trade in RLC google it good luck
