Privates call Sergeants, "Sergeant." Do they call corporals "Corporal"? Or because of the closeness of rank are they allowed to call Corporals by their last name, or is there a shortened form of "Corporal" they say? (By the way, I mean to their faces, not behind their backs like as an insult.)
Locke, I specifically said what they say to their faces, not insults behind the back, so I'm assuming none would be dumb enough to mouth off to a superior.

Privates are supposed to talk to Corporals and Specialists the same way they do Sergeants by ending what they say with Corporal (or Specialist). However the guys in my unit think it is a joke when it comes to calling a Specialist "Specialist" and tell me not to bother. they just talk to each other like any other soldier
