It was described to me as a "hip lounge". What do I wear?
for a 22 year old girl?
Thanks! I actually live 30 minutes away from the city, but don't spend time in places like these. I grew up here. The few times I have gone to a lounge that was similar, I felt as if people thought I did not "belong" there. It felt "cliquey". I do think people in NY have a certain style of snobbishness, but I'm used to it and I think it adds to the overall nihilistic charm of the city.
