What do I need to remember for CA driving test?

I am going to take my driver's license test in the next month in Santa Ana, CA. I was wondering what things I should expect to do during the test (i.e. parallel parking, reverse, etc.) as well as what things I should remember, things that people normally forget on their first attempt. Also, if I don't pass on my first attempt, how long do I have to wait before I take it again?
I am talking about the test when I am actually driving with a tester to be clear

read the book, atleast 3 times over, i got 98%, I missed the fine for driving past a bus with its lights flashing and children present.
