I am looking to open a smoking cafe lounge. What do I need to make this happen? I know all about Smoking Bans in public places, but this would be sort of a Cigar Lounge where everyone that comes in will know there is smoking involved. I know about the percent of sales has to be mostly tobacco. There will be small foods sold here, but nothing too big..just coffee, smoothies, chips, sandwiches..little things like that.
What are my steps? I know I need a business license, tobacco license, tax ID #, sales tax permit, food license, and other things?..what order do I get these things? Who do I talk to first? I have the money, just need to sort out the legalities..any info would be helpful.
