i'm surprising a friend with tickets to see a race in NH in september but have no clue on picking seats. I seem to notice that the higher the row number the more expensive the tickets are..so these have to be the better seats right?
Is it true you have to be there super early as well. i also hear parking is a nightmare

Yes, Higher usually is better because the higher you are you can see alot more, or all of the track. Where as down low your vision is blocked sometimes.
Sometimes I prefer down low so I have a close up of the pits during pit stops or so I can get up at ease and walk around and take in all the sites. Walk down to turn 4 and watch them coming at me, Check out the souvener trailers, grab a beer etc. etc.
It ALL DEPENDS on what track your at or how you want to spend the race as to where you might want to sit.
Rule of thumb though is the higher the best vision.
If I'm with one other person and we wanted to sit, and concentrate on the entire race, I would sit as high as possible and rent some scanners!
