What do I need to do to take an LSAT and attend Law School?

In college do I have to major in law to take the LSAT. In other words were do I learn the information needed for the LSAT? In my major special classes what?
So you need no prior knowledge to take the LSAT it's like an IQ test? What do you do to prepare for it? And how do you sign up?
