I quickly put my 30 days notice into our property management co on July 1 (lease was month to month), therefore, my name will be taken off the lease on July 30. (this happened on the 14th). I needed to get out asap, so bit the bullet and paid double rent for my new apart. Long story short, I made good friends with the neighbors at my old house. I went to hang out, parked my car in my old driveway, and when I went to go home the next morn, my exroommates had it towed. I had absolutely no notification of this tow, and I saw my rommates signature on the towing papers the next day. I told her we could make this easy, and that she had 24 hours to come up with the $315 it took to get my car back, but she didn't want to have anything to do with my proposal. So now I am filing a case in small claims court, but have NO idea where to start or what to file. Can someone help, PLEASE!? thanks!
