queens, NY? i and my girlfriend were in a park on 46th st, greenpoint avenue, queens. We were talking to each other. there were few pther people in the park. it was almost 12 midnight and we were still talking with each other, as we never knew the rules about being in the park after its closed. two NYPD officers came up to us and gave me and my girlfriend pink summons saying that we disobey the park signs. both of us have never been convicted before. as we both are international students on F1 visa, we are very worried about something happening worst, as it directly affects our immigration status. please give me some suggestions and consequences of our mistake which we never did intentionally.
