4 years at a college, then a few years at a school for law. Then if you get hired by a law firm as an intern you can expect a few years doing the most menial of work.

i am 21 broke and had the notion of when i was about 5 to become a lawyer, know what i want to become a lawyer! my familys a bunch of drop out losers and me and my mom are the only ones in the family to graduate dad or 3 sisters never did

look ive never had mush to look up to, how many years a law school and what would be the easiest way of acomplishing this goal

i dont look highly on anyone in my family... can i know but who cares

start out by going to community college and getting your AA...thats about two years..
then transfer to a university (most accept people with AAs no matter what) and major in something that relates closest to the area of law you want to go into(major doesn't matter though, but they look for diversity)
then you're going to need to take the LSATs...and apply to law schools for a juris doctorate..thats another four years....and then you'll need to take the state bar exam...probably about another year or maybe two's worth of work...so all in all...roughly 10 years and about half a million dollars worth of education.
