what do i have to do to start my 1984 honda interceptor after i wrecked it?

I laid down my 84 Honda interceptor 500 r at about 25 to 30 miles an hour when it slid on sand and i accidentally pulled off the throttle i was wondering if i could get some possible reasons why it wouldn't start or if there was a safety switch that kills the motor when its laid down or something please any help would be appreciated
